Graduate of St. Lawrence School, Lawrenceburg H.S. (varsity football, etc.), Purdue University (class years not available). BA degree in communications-journalism.


Started at Register as intern under sports ed. Bill Libbert, managing ed.Stewart Hedger, completed college, returned full-time fall, 1980. Succeeded Marty Pieratt as sports ed., circa 1982. Closing in on 50-odd HSPA awards over the years.


Military history buff, particularly US WWII airborne.
