Lawrenceburg Fire Department is partnering with Special Olympic Indiana- Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties to host the annual Fire Truck Pull Saturday, Sept. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, at the Hollywood Casino overflow parking lot off U.S. 50 in Greendale.

HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. - Aurora’s own Ezra Hastings is back, competing in the world’s largest amateur motocross race this week.

Dearborn County could become the Tri-State testing ground for how residents of the region feel about displaying the Confederate flag when the owners of  General Lee look-a-like cars, with Old Dixie on the roofs, gather for the second annual Dearborn County Turns Hazzard County Benefit for CHARGE Syndrome and Autism Awareness on Friday, Aug.

Lawrenceburg's 31-year old Bryan Wagner won Sunday's 35th St. Martin's 5K Run title in a time of 19:43, overcoming an eight-second deficit late in the race.

 

With the church spire of its namesake parish overlooking them all, a field of 121 runners, and unofficial walkers, turned out for Sunday's 9:30 a.m. start to the 35th annual St. Martin's Country Run 5K race at Yorkville. Everyone finished in good shape despite the sunny, humid 80-degree conditions.

Indiana-bred NASCAR racing champion Jeff Gordon, who grew up just west of Indianapolis in Pittsboro, Ind., made his final appearance in Sunday's Brickyard 400 in a quest for his sixth victory at the venerable 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
