Combined they have a population of more than 13,000, with more than 1,300 runs per year.
The three cities, Lawrenceburg, Greendale and Aurora, or the Big Three, are taking the next step in mutual aid.
While there is a countywide mutual aid agreement, and, frequently they back each other up on fires or other situations, the chiefs of the Big Three decided it was in their communities best interest to train together.
