|Truck goes off interstate|

Greendale police, fire, EMS as well as a towing company had their hands full Sunday afternoon, Dec. 8, when a semi-tractor trailer left Interstate 275, and ended up in a field.
The truck left the interstate near the 17-mile marker, and went over the embankment near Horseshoe campground.
Greendale Police Sgt. Kevin Turner said the tractor and trailer were upright, and the tractor had heavy front end damage.
Driver Vernon Brouwer, 57, of Holland, Mich., told police t he had hit his head during the accident and could not recall why he left the roadway.
No other vehicles were involved in the crahs, and the only damage was to some trees and the vehicle. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be involved, said Turner.
Brouwer was taken to Dearborn County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The trailer was loaded but not carrying hazardous materials.
Greendale Assistant Chief Jeffery Allen Lane is investigating the accident. Schaffer's Towing assisted at the scene.
