VEVAY – Lawrenceburg softball scored seven runs in its last two at-bats to record its second victory of the season, 8-1 at Switzerland County, Wednesday.

Leading only 1-0 through four winnings coach Mark McCool's Lady Tigers (2-9), capitalized on Pacers errors to plate four runs in the top of the fifth inning and three more in the sixth.

The late-arriving offense made best use of another good outing by senior right-hander Kaili McCool, who allowed an earned run on five hits, with a walk and a strikeout in the complete-game victory. Sixty of 86 pitches the LHS ace threw went for strikes.
