RISING SUN - Fresh off a perfect game pitching performance, Rising Sun freshman hurler Alix DeDreu struck out seven she hurled a two hit, 5-0 shutout over the South Dearborn Lady Knights on Monday, April 23 at Rising Sun.

DeDreu struck out the first four batters she faced then allowed a pair of infield singles while two others reached on infield errors and only two balls reached the outfield as Rising Sun won the first of two games against the Knights this week.

The two teams hook up in the opening game of the River Town Classic at 11 a.m. Saturday at South Dearborn.
