On Monday night, April 16, three members of the Lawrenceburg Common Council, Jane Pope, Mike Lawrence, and Doug Taylor, voted to hire Nicholas Kile as independent attorney for the council.

At Thursday’s special meeting, Kile reported to the council that in 2011 serious mistakes had been made in the approval of the 2012 budget, wrote councilman Mike Lawrence in a press release Wednesday, April 25.
