| FCCLA students qualify for national competition |

Seven Sunman-Dearborn Middle School students' Family, Career and Community Leaders of America projects qualified for national competition, said FCCLA adviser Brenda Osman. The students will compete in July in Florida, she told the S-D Community School Board at its April meeting. Then she let some of the students tell the board about their projects. βI have always been fascinated by the teaching profession,β she said. So she explored what she would have to do to become a teacher, resulting in a six-year education plan for herself.
