BROOKVILLE – Despite entering Tuesday night's IHSAA girls track and field sectional without one of its top point scorers, East Central still came away with its 12th trophy.

Winner of their 12th consecutive sectional championship as well, coach Steve Cotherman's Lady Trojans pulled together for a 125.5-112 team victory over runner-up Batesville at the Franklin County sectional site.
