Dearborn County does a monthly test of the tornado sirens and warning system on the first Wednesday of each month at noon and again at 7 p.m.

These are for outdoor warnings. With the first Wednesday of July being a holiday, along with the other counties in the Tri-State area, the county is  not going to activate the sirens.

Also with the World Choir Games is going on in the Cincinnati area we may have some visitors in our area from different countries and a siren may mean something more than a weather statement to them.

Remember the sirens are for tornado warnings and if you hear them:
*Tune in to radio or television
*Take action if there is weather activity in your area
*Take cover indoors until storm is over
