AURORA – If it wasn't for bad luck, it seemed this spring, South Dearborn baseball would have had no luck at all.

Before the season even started, coach Jay Malott's Knights found out they were likely to be without county co-MVP, top hitter AND pitcher Mitchell James (.494, 3.04 ERA) due to an off-season skiing injury.
