Aurora Fire Department found the back porch of a house on Sherman Drive on fire after being called out at 4 a.m. Thursday, July 5.

The house at 7035 Sherman Drive, Aurora, is owned by Randy Hildebrand. The back porch and some siding were damaged, and no one was injured.

Damage is estimated at about $10,000, and the cause remains under investigation, said AFD Safety Officer Kevin Turner.
