|Harrison vs. Dearborn Co. in business relocation|

The City of Harrison, Hamilton County and the state have teamed up to entice a 124-person business to re-locate in Harrison instead of Dearborn County.
In a sweeping move, with minimal discussion, council unanimously voted Tuesday, July 3, to approve an incentive package to convince Cincinnati Test Systems, now located in Whitewater Township, to move the business to the property on New Haven Road that would have been behind the Wal-Mart that never came to fruition.
Council unanimously passed a job creation ordinance that calls for the city to provide CTS a grant from non-tax revenue in an amount equal to 45 percent of payroll income tax collected from CTS employees for seven years.
But Dearborn County is not going to let the company go without a fight.
