The proposed Aurora City Budget for 2013 is much like the 2012 budget, Aurora Clerk-treasurer Randy Turner told city council Thursday, July 19, at a public meeting to review the budget.

The proposal calls for a total $1,495,081 general fund, as compared to $1,485,626 budgeted for 2012. Actual expenditures in 2011 were $1,418,786 from a budget of $1,491,423, according to charts distributed by Turner.

Paula Walker and Michele Kohorst, financial consultants, helped prepare the proposal. Kohorst was an Aurora deputy clerk-treasurer some years ago.
