LAWRENCEBURG – Since early this year, Lawrenceburg High School's football web site has displayed a graphic rendering of what the Tigers hope of how their Neary Stadium playing surface may someday appear.

A multi-use facility with artificial turf, it sports orange-colored end zones emblazoned with “Lawrenceburg” and “Tigers” and the vintage tiger paw logo at midfield.

Atop the artwork appears the heading “Our goal – Our dream – Our future.” Further explanation is unnecesary at this point.

Around 30 Indiana high school stadiums - multi-use facilities for all levels of football and soccer, plus band activities and other uses – have artificial turf fields.
