ST. LEON – East Central head football coach Tim Behlmer has one thing to say about the trendy spread offenses that rely on speed and finesse to move the football these days.

“Our signature always has been physical football,” said the fifth-year Trojans boss, 34-11 in his two stints at the head of the program, including last year's 9-2 conference championship season.

“It really benefits us now that so many teams have gone to the spread. They're not very comfortable when the come up against a power football team like ours. It's a very difficult situation for them. That's the way we like it. Until they roll me out to pasture, that's the kind of football team we're going to be.”
