ST. LEON – East Central volleyball maintained its conference lead with a 3-1 homecourt victory over Lawrenceburg Thursday, Aug. 30.

First-year coach Dana Heileman's Lady Trojans, now 7-4 overall, kept their Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference slate spotless at 4-0 with the four-game marathon win.

Winning two close games to start the match, 25-17, 25-18, EC led 8-4 early in game three, only to fall down 22-25 to coach Staci Knigga's Tigers (5-3, 1-2).
