A Kentucky woman spent the Labor Day weekend behind bars after allegedly assaulting Greendale’s Assistant Police Chief Jeff Lane.

Sandra L. Gilbert, 50, of Taylor Mill, Ky., is facing several class A misdemeanors for  operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, battery on a police officer and forcibly resisting law enforcement.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Lane, he was dispatched to Parkside Avenue for a call of an intoxicated female trying to drive away.
