ST. LEON – Coming off an 0-1-2 showing in the Hoosier Cup tournament Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at Bloomington, East Central boys soccer needed a little positive reinforcement.

Coach B.J. Black's varsity Trojans, now 8-1-2, got just that with a satisfying 3-0 home victory over stateline rival Harrison, Ohio, Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Led by two goals from junior forward Sam Burns – who raised his team-leading total to 12 in 11 matches this season – EC erupted to score three times after a 0-0 first half.
