LAWRENCEBURG – Twentieth-ranked (Class A) Lawrenceburg boys soccer attacked steadily for a 2-0 victory over No. 12 Greensburg Wednesday night.

Following a rain delay of just over one hour, coach Dewayne Uhlman's Tigers (5-3, 2-2 Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference) kept the pressure on the visiting Pirates (now 4-3) to avenge two 2011 league losses.

“We played hard and never backed off,” said Uhlman. “When we talk to each other and play as a team, we're a whole lot better. I think this one opened our eyes, big time.”
