1992– Second-string quarterback Brett Favre leads the Packers to a 24-23 victory over the Bengals at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Favre is in the game because starter Don Majkowski injures his ankle in the first quarter. In the fourth period the Packers still trail, 17-3. Cornerback Terrell Buckley sparks the comeback by returning a punt 58 yards for a touchdown to make it 17-10. Packers are behind again, 23-17, with 1:07 left. With no time outs, Favre marches the team 92 yards in five plays, capped by a 35-yard TD pass to Kitrick Taylor with 13 seconds left. It's Favre's second season in the NFL and his first with the Packers. He goes on to start in 285 consecutive games with the Packers, Jets and Vikings.
