LAWRENCEBURG – East Central's Payton Stonefield and Olivia Hewitt of Switzerland County are Indiana state finalists for the 2012 Wendy's High School Heisman.

Payton, a three-sport standout in football, baseball and basketball for EC's Trojans, is the son of Don and Gina Stonefield, Sunman.

Olivia, a volleyball player, swimmer and track and field regional qualifier in high jump for the Pacers, is the daughter of Christy Cutter and David Hewitt, Vevay.

Both winners, honored Tuesday at the Lawrenceburg Wendy's restaurant, are candidates for the boys and girls state High School Heisman award, to be announced Monday, Nov. 5.
