PAOLI – Chad Banschbach returned the opening kickoff for a 90-yard touchdown to set the tone for Lawrenceburg’s 16^th football sectional championship Friday at Paoli, 52-34.

Seconds later, the 5’10”, 185-pound senior – who rushed for 216 hard-earned yards and two more TDs on a chilly night in Orange County – fueled his competitive fire on the sideline. Wolfing down a quick hot dog.

Banschbach’s hunger pangs reflected the more figurative ones of all the 10^th-ranked Tigers (now 11-1), who never trailed in a Sectional 31 championship battle that looked like a shootout most of the way.
