MUNCIE – No. 5 Cowan rallied to defeat Loogootee in the first five-set volleyball state title match since 2007 for Saturday's Class A championship at Ball State University's Worthen Arena.

Before the day was done, two of the three remaining class division state title matches were decided in five sets.
