LAWRENCEBURG – Anytime the subject of Lawrenceburg girls basketball arises, it’s always accompanied by that 8,000-pound elephant in the corner of the room. The streak. It’s unavoidable. Last season’s 4-17 run under veteran Bill Snyder (297-205 previously, with multiple championships at South Dearborn and South Ripley) marked Snyder’s first-ever losing campaign. And the Lady Tigers’ 29th in a row. “It’s a lot of games (to make up),” said the LHS principal/coach. “These sophomores will come of age and help us. But it takes a lot of maturity and experience to have a winning season, especially in our conference and against the schedule we play.
