East Eads Parkway, U.S. 50, will be temporarily closed between the intersections of Rudolph Way and Hollywood Blvd./Speedway Drive. The 15-minute closure will take effect at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, weather permitting, according to The Indiana Department of Transportation.
INDOT crews will close the section of U.S. 50 briefly to remove an existing sign span/cable line stretching overhead. In addition, crews will also remove the attached posts, temporarily restricting travel to one lane in each direction. Flagging crews will maintain traffic control throughout the operation. This portion of the work is expected to be completed by late afternoon. In case of inclement weather, work will be rescheduled on the following day.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone.
