For six weeks, pictures entered into the Register Publications Pet Idol contest will run in The Dearborn County Register, The Harrison-Press and The Ohio County News/The Rising Sun Recorder. Pick a favorite, then go vote online at www.thedcregister.com, theharrison-press.com or www.theohiocounty news.com. Each group of pets will be featured for voting for one week beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. The pet photo with the top votes each week will go on to the final round in week seven. The top three winners of week seven will be featured in a story in each of the newspapers. A donation also will be given in their name to Partners For Animal Welfare Society Of Dearborn County.
