The sun set on the 2012 football season for the Lawrenceburg Tigers as the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats snapped a five game Tigers' winning streak with a 33-14 win in Class 2A Regional action Saturday, Nov. 10 at Dick Meador Stadium/Neary Field.

Coach Mike Goebel's second ranked Wildcats made it clear they knew Chad Banschbach. They were not going to kick to him and when he got the ball they were all going after him.

Although silent in the kicking game, Lawrenceburg's all-time leading rusher scored the only two scores of the game with a 10-yard TD reception from sophomore Sam Fette and a 20 yard breakaway score with 9:08 remaining.
