Come January, Aurora's garbage pickup day will be Wednesday, and the garbage trucks will belong to Bestway.

At a special meeting Wednesday, Nov. 14, Aurora City Council unanimously accepted Bestway's bid for garbage collection as the “best and lowest and most responsible bid,” as put by Aurora City Attorney Jeff Stratman

Whether or not residents will have curbside recycling remains to be seen, as does whether they will begin paying part of the cost for garbage pickup.
