| Sewer bill, arrest, topics at Moores Hill council |

Until a couple of months ago, Tammy Deck, Moores Hill, had never gotten a sewer bill for her home, 16329 Broadway St., where she moved in 2008. “We've never paid it. We never even knew we had a sewage bill,” Deck told Moores Hill Town Council at its December meeting. She paid the new $54.40 per month bills, but then received a letter saying she owned $11,096.80 for 19 months of sewage bills, back into 2010. “I'm very angry and upset I was notified like this,” she said. Why should she be responsible for something that was the town's fault, her not being billed for sewage since she moved in?
