RISING SUN – When your fourth-year senior point guard is out with an injury, basketball offenses tend to feel the effect. That was the case with South Dearborn's Knights, who lacked scoring punch in last Wednesday's 55-44 Thanksgiving Eve season opener at Rising Sun. “You don't expect to start your season that way, but it happens,” said second-year SD head coach Rick Shumate, whose varsity squad took the floor without veteran Austin Miller in the backcourt.
