NORTH VERNON – With only two players back with any true varsity game experience, East Central boys basketball looked every bit the part in Saturday’s 68-45 season-opening loss at Jennings County. Trojans, who open their EIAC schedule at South Dearborn Friday, drew plenty of first half foul trouble, shot poorly from the field and behind the three-point arc and sabotaged any chance they had of staying close with 22 turnovers. “We turned it over too much and just didn’t shoot well,” said EC head coach David Disbro. “Sometimes we just threw it away. We just don’t have a lot of experience out there, either in our young guys or in most of our seniors. It was horrible.
