LAWRENCEBURG – Trailing South Dearborn by four points with three minutes left Saturday afternoon, Lawrenceburg girls basketball rallied for a confidence-building 46-43 conference win. Now 2-2 overall and 2-1, good for third place in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference standings, coach Bill Snyder's Lady Tigers made history of a sort with the hard-fought home victory. Combined with their 42-33 win over defending league champion Franklin County Nov. 17, Lady Tigers posted their first two-game win streak since late in the 2008-09 campaign, when they knocked off Milan and Southwestern (Hanover), back-to-back, to reach the Class 2A sectional final.
