Two men fled police Monday, Nov. 26, and remain at large, said Aurora Police Chief Bryan Fields.
A chase ensued at about 10:44 a.m., after an Aurora police officer observed Dennis T. Seabolt and Jason A. Seabolt in a maroon passenger vehicle. The officer knew the men, going east on U.S. 50 at the Ind. 350 intersection, had outstanding warrants, said Fields. As the officer drove behind the vehicle, it accelerated and continued at a high rate of speed, said Fields. The officer activated his emergency lights and siren, attempting to stop the vehicle to no avail, said Fields. Speeds reached over 80 mph as they traveled east on U.S. 50.
