AURORA – South Dearborn girls basketball stopped a four-game losing streak with a badly-needed 40-36 homecourt win over Rising Sun Thursday night.

But nothing has been easy for coach Bob Bressert's Lady Knights (2-4, 1-2 EIAC) this season. Neither was the four-point victory over the Shiners.

Coach Noel Bostic's 2-3 Rising Sun crew, looking to snap its own 12-game loss streak at the hands of South Dearborn, appeared headed that way most of the night.
