Two Dearborn County businesses, one individual and two organizations were recognized for their achievements Thursday, Nov. 29, at the 2012 Chamber 25th AnniversaryGala/Annual Dinner.
More than 250 chamber partners, community leaders and State of Indiana representatives attended the event at Hollywood Casino.
Chip Perfect, Perfect North Slopes, made the evening memorable with his humor and stories as the event’s emcee. With a silent auction, prom style pictures and a music provided by Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band, a Dixieland band, the evening was full of fun and celebration.
Craig Distributing, Inc. was recognized as the Business of the Year with Richard Craig, President and owner, accepting the award.
A.I.M. (Young Professional’s group of the Chamber) recognized Receptions at Dearborn Country Club for their help in the group’s re-launching efforts in the past year. Dan Goebel, owner, was on hand to accept the award.
The Chairman’s Award was presented to two organizations for their efforts in economic development in the region. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation and the Lawrenceburg 10 County Regional Grants Program have both been instrumental in creating over 8,000 jobs and helping to bring over $2 billion of investment to the region.
