BROOKVILLE – Lawrenceburg boys basketball coach John Blackwell said it best himself: “We have no margin for error right now.” Now 1-4 and 0-4 in Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference play, Tigers made plenty of them in dropping their third-straight league game, 59-52, at Franklin County. Digging themselves a deep hole in the EIAC cellar, Tigers shot poorly (35 percent, including 3-18 three-pointers), missed a ton of free throws (11 in the second quarter alone) and turned the ball over 22 times (13 second half) against the Wildcats (2-3, 1-2). “To put it squarely on any one thing is to miss the overall picture,” said Blackwell. “We didn't play well, offensively or defensively.
