LAWRENCEBURG – Robbie Jackson’s 29 points carried Lawrenceburg boys basketball to a slump-busting 72-66 overtime win over Indianapolis Arlington Saturday.
The six-foot senior guard, tripped before he could take what would have been an open shot to win in regulation, scored the first six points in overtime for the Tigers (now 2-4) en route to a career night.
“Robbie shot 11-for-16,” said LHS coach John Blackwell, whose team battled back after a disappointing 59-52 loss at Franklin County Wednesday. “He hit all his clear looks. But the important thing was that he played well at both ends. He got seven rebounds and played his best game defensively so far.”
