ST. LEON – East Central varsity wrestlers pushed their season mark to 15-1 with a clean sweep of their own six-way meet Saturday.

Coach Derek Rehage's Trojan varsity made an unbeaten 5-0 run through the six-team field. Batesville (17-3) finished second at 4-1, with Lawrenceburg's Tigers third at 3-2.

EC won every match in shutout victories over Tri High (Straughn) (82-0) and Cambridge City Lincoln (81-0) and downed Shenandosh (75-5) and Lawrenceburg (60-16) to set up the title showdown with Batesville.

Trojans bested the Bulldogs 45-26, registering two weight class match wins by fall and three others by forfeit.
