McDonald’s - Versailles has partnered with Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati to host a Community Blood Drive from 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7. Look for the Hoxworth Donor Bus in McDonald’s lot, 301 S. Adams St. All donors will receive a Hoxworth winter t-shirt.
To schedule your appointment, call Hoxworth at 1-800-830-1091. Priority will be given to donors who have scheduled an appointment. Walk-in donors are welcome and will be seen as soon as possible.
Donating blood is safe and easy. Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with a signed parental consent, and in good health. Individuals must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.
