ST. LEON – When a basketball team has a bad shooting game, the cliches start to pile up.

a) The Lady Trojans (9-2) couldn’t throw it in the ocean, hitting just 15 of an increasingly desperate 55 field goal attempts (27.2 percent).
b) They shot like there was a lid on the basket, connecting on just three of 17 three point tries (17.6 percent).
