Greendale Redevelopment Commission member Kevin Lynch, who will become a Dearborn County Commissioner Tuesday, Jan. 1, was honored by fellow members of the Greendale group at their December 18 meeting.

Chairman Bill Lansing presented Lynch with a plaque as he attended his final meeting.

Lynch has served with the Redevelopment Commission since 2002.

He will represent Dearborn County on the Board of the Ohio Kentucky Indiana Regional Council of Governments and has been appointed as its second vice president.

He said he is looking forward to Dearborn County taking a much more active role in the multi-county and state organization.
