|L’burg gets subpoena from Feds for loan/grant docs|

A subpoena issued for Lawrenceburg city records by the United States District Court, Southern District of Indiana, could partially stem from an ongoing dispute between city council members and the mayor.
The dispute over how to handle various riverboat gambling revenues culminated in October when the city was supposed to approve a budget for 2013.
At a meeting Monday, Oct. 29, while discussing the budget vetoed by Mayor Dennis Carr which had passed city council by a 3-2 vote the week before, allegations of illegality/impropriety were made. Also at the Oct. 29 meeting calls for an “investigation” were by more than one council person and the mayor.
The subpoena dated Thursday, Dec. 20, states
