| Judge will stay on Acapulco case |

Dearborn-Ohio Circuit Court Judge James D. Humphrey had denied a defense request he remove himself from the case of Adolfo and Maria Lopez. The Lopezes attorney, Doug Garner, filed the motion in early December in the case where the couple, along with several others, are charged with corrupt business influence, forgery and perjury, all class C felonies, in the operations of several Acapulco Mexican Restaurants. Maria Lopez is out on bond, but Adolfo Lopez is still in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement in lieu of bond set at $3 million surety and $250,000 cash.
