They only stayed that day for about 90 minutes, but working together the volunteers of Bright Meadows Park were able to accomplish a lot. Dearborn County Park Board Member Ginger Korn, steward for Bright Meadows, organized the clean-up Saturday, April 11, to get the park ready for warmer weather ahead.

A couple of hundred people and dignitaries stopped by West Harrison in Dearborn County Friday, April 17, to grab a handful of crackers and cookies, and while there they toured the new Siemer Milling Company, U.S. 52, which makes the wheat for the goodies.

LAWRENCEBURG - A total of 22 Kelsey Chevrolet Sprint Cars were in the house for Saturday night's races at Lawrenceburg Speedway.

Twenty-one qualifiers started the 25-lap feature race, with Joe Liguori's No. 6RR car breaking down in hot laps.

South Dearborn junior Megan Meyers allowed just one earned run, scattering 11 hits with one walk in Thursday's 6-1 softball win at East Central.

 

ST. LEON - South Dearborn softball beat a veteran East Central team at its own traditional small-ball game 6-1 in a drizzly EIAC matchup Thursday.
