INDIANAPOLIS – South Dearborn's Ellen Barrett and Collier Holtegel both were nominees for this week's Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway Player of the Week awards for District 3.

Barrett, 5'10” junior center/forward for the Lady Knights, repeated her 2012 honor as River Town Classic Most Valuable Player, totalling 31 points in two games as SD won its eighth holiday tournament title.

Holtegel, South Dearborn 6'4” senior post man, earned River Town Classic boys tournament MVP honors as his 16 points led the Knights to a 45-42 title game victory over Lawrenceburg.
