LAWRENCEBURG – It took Lawrenceburg boys basketball just seven days to avenge its 45-42 River Town Classic final loss to arch-rival South Dearborn. Outrebounded and generally outplayed by the Knights Jan. 5 at SD, Tigers turned the tables - 65-59 - behind a hustling, diving and clutch free throw-shooting 16 points (11-12 FT) from senior guard Chad Banschbach. “He plays as hard as anybody I’ve ever coached,” said LHS head coach John Blackwell, whose team improved to 6-5 overall with its first Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference win (1-4).
