On a cold day with wind chills dipping into the single digits, the crowd was small but dedicated for the 24th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March Monday, Jan. 21, from Central Elementary School to Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg. “The crowd is down ... but those who are loyal are here,” said William “Bucky” Thomas, who is on the MLK March and Celebration committee at the start of the program following the march at the church.
