One year after winning a silver medal in ESPN’s Winter X Games men’s ski slopestyle competition, Lawrenceburg’s Nick Goepper was good as gold Sunday. Goepper, 18, who grew up skiing the 400-foot hill at Perfect North Slopes, made his third and final run of the day his best, scoring 94.00 points to hold off three other skiers who broke 90 at Buttermilk Mountain. A Hidden Valley Lake resident, Goepper became the ninth different men’s ski slopestyle gold medalist in the nine-year history of the X Games.
