AURORA – East Central girls basketball exploded for an 11-1 the final two minutes of the first half to run away with a 71-46 EIAC victory at South Dearborn Tuesday.

Coach Kevin Moore's Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference champions capped a perfect 10-0 league slate with the win on SD's Senior Night, moving their record to 17-3 overall.

Senior guard Jenna Hountz led East Central with 22 points, including four three-point goals and an even 11 points in each half. She shot 4-8 from behind the arc and 6-8 at the free throw line to go with six assists, five steals, and four rebounds.
